Tractor air filter and system

Inspection of tractor ventilation system

JAVID KESHT LEYZERI COMPANY

Due to the presence of dust and suspended particles in the ambient air, it is necessary to filter the air entering the engine, these particles will lead to severe erosion and deposits on the parts inside the engine. An air filter is used in the engine to separate these particles. The air entering the engine may be purified in several stages by passing through different filters. These filters must be serviced on time.

In different tractors, special strainers are used. For their service, you should refer to the tractor service and maintenance manual.

pre-filter

The pre-filter is a plastic or metal cup placed at the beginning of the air inlet. The pre-filter separates coarse impurities from the incoming air. After passing through the pre-filter, the air enters the air filter.

After passing through the pre-filter, the incoming air enters the air filter and after passing through it, almost 98% of the impurities are separated from the air. Two types of oil filter and dry filter are used in the engine of agricultural tractors.

A) Oil filter:

The oil strainer consists of a body, an oil cup, a primary mesh and a secondary mesh. After the air passes through the oil, most of the airborne particles are captured and cleaned.

b) Dry filter:

In the engine of some tractors, such as Ferguson 399, a dry air filter is used to filter the intake air. This strainer is cleaner and lighter than the oil type. The dry air filter consists of two inner and outer cylindrical filters, which are cylindrical and the inner filter is placed in the outer filter.
