For the service and maintenance of the potato harvesting machine, in addition to performing general services and storage instructions during the idle season, refer to the machine's instruction manual.
Service and storage steps of the potato harvester
1- Change the gearbox oil once every season with the type of oil recommended in the driver's manual.
2-Grease all the grease fittings such as the grease fittings of the disc bearing, wheel axle bearing, pinion wheels and pinion axles once or twice a day.
3- Blades should be repaired or replaced after wear.
4- If the machine is of a type that takes power from the tractor's power axis, its mechanisms are protected by a safety clutch, which must be adjusted correctly.
5- After finishing the seasonal work, completely open the car and clean all its parts. Cover all parts of the disc and blade with a layer of anti-rust material. Grease the bearings. If the car has an inflatable wheel, measure the air pressure, cover the device and store it.
