Conveyor potato settings
Adjusting the depth of work and adjusting the slackness of the chain is one of the most important adjustments of this device.
Adjustment of working depth:
The working depth of the machine is adjusted by special wheels installed in front of the machine. The higher the wheels are, the more the blade penetrates the soil and the soil is removed from a greater depth. This distance should be adjusted according to the location of the potato tubers.
Adjustment of chain tension:
The conveyor chain should be adjusted in such a way that the necessary shocks occur in it to dig the potatoes. At the same time, the chain should not slip from the drive teeth wheel.
Adjust the potato turner
The most important adjustments of the rotary potato are: adjusting the distance between the fingers and the blade, adjusting the working depth, adjusting the rotation speed of the fingers, and adjusting the wire net distance.
Adjusting the distance between the fingers and the blade:
There should be a little distance between the fingers and the blade, in soils that have pebbles, this distance should be such that the pebbles can easily pass between the blade and the fingers. This distance is usually about 15 mm.
Adjustment of working depth:
Usually, by moving the earth wheel vertically, they adjust the amount of penetration of the blade relative to the soil surface. The greater the distance between the wheel and the blade in the vertical position, the greater the harvesting depth.
Adjusting the speed of the fingers:
The rotation speed of the fingers depends on the speed of the device. The higher the advance speed, the faster the movement of the fingers should be, and it is necessary to use the device at a suitable speed so that the potato tubers are not injured.
Adjusting the distance of the wire tour:
The wire net should be installed in a suitable place that prevents the spread of the glands. The position of the wire net on the relevant arm can be adjusted.
Adjusting the potato shaker
The only adjustment of the vibrating potato is the adjustment of the working depth. The lower the blade is compared to the soil surface, the more soil is guided along with the tubers on the vibrating part of the device. Because the machine is riding, the depth of work is regulated by the tractor's hydraulic key system and the machine's carrier wheels.
