About the thresher

Thresher is a machine that threshes the threshed product, separates straw, chaff and grain during the threshing operation.

This machine consists of two units:

1- Beating unit:

which includes the knocking cylinder and the anti-knocking semi-cylinder. The hammering cylinder has a rotary motion and a finger or tooth or file blades are installed on its side surface. Anti-knock is a plate with a hole in the shape of a semi-cylindrical and is located under the knocker. Depending on the type of product, a knocking cylinder and a special anti-knocking semi-cylinder are used.

2- Thresher cleaning unit:

Includes sieves and fan impeller. In this unit, straw, chaff and grain are separated from each other.

The thresher is installed in the threshing floor, gets power from the power transmission axis of the tractor or electric motor and performs the threshing operation.

The worker pours the product into the machine with a fork through the entrance opening. Due to the rotation of the hammer cylinder, the product placed in the distance between the hammer and anti-hammer is pounded. The stubbles are thrown out, straw and chaff and seeds fall on the sieves. As a result of their oscillating movement and vibration and the wind of the blower, the straw, straw and grain are separated from each other and come out of the relevant ducts.
