Getting to know Head Chopper (harvesting and product guidance unit)
Forage corn harvesters may be equipped with different types of heads.

In common tractor machines in the country, the head has three branches and two openings. The openings cover two rows of corn and harvest. A shoe is installed under the heads, which stabilizes the height of the nose from the ground. In addition, the shoe protects the head from possible damage when hitting the ground. Head branches have conveyor chains. Spoons are installed on the chains with equal distance. While rotating, the chains pull the corn stalks to the end of the opening with the help of spoons, so that after harvesting, they are guided to the feeding unit by the oval blades under the head.
